Community Guidelines

Our Pledge to Each Other

Levari is built on mutual respect and trust. We are a community of students helping students succeed. To keep this platform safe, valuable, and authentic, every User must adhere to the following code of conduct. Access to Levari is a privilege, not a right. Violating these guidelines may result in the immediate suspension or permanent deletion of your account.

1. Zero Tolerance for Hate, Violence, & Harassment

We prioritize the physical and mental safety of our student community above all else. You may not use Levari to:

  • Threaten or Incite Violence: Any threat of physical or financial harm towards a person, group, or property will result in an immediate ban and, where appropriate, a report to law enforcement.
  • Harass or Bully: Repeated unwanted contact, insults, doxxing, or "trolling" is strictly prohibited. If someone asks you to stop contacting them, you must stop immediately.
  • Hate Speech: Content or behavior that promotes hatred, discrimination, or derogatory language against people based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, age, or sexual orientation is strictly forbidden.

2. Strict Prohibition on Sexual Content

Levari is a professional, academic, and practical marketplace. It is not a dating app or a platform for adult content.

  • No Sexually Explicit Material: We strictly prohibit pornography, nudity, or any content intended to cause sexual arousal.
  • No Solicitation: Asking for or offering sexual services, soliciting dates, or attempting to use the platform to initiate inappropriate romantic relationships is a severe violation of our terms.

3. Academic Integrity (The "No Cheating" Rule)

We exist to help you learn, build skills, and save time—not to help you fake your way through school.

  • ALLOWED: Peer tutoring, explaining complex concepts, proofreading drafts, citing sources, resume reviews, and interview prep.
  • PROHIBITED:
    • Writing essays, papers, or code for another student to submit as their own ("contract cheating").
    • Taking exams, quizzes, or online modules on behalf of another student.
    • Selling or providing answer keys to active exams or unreleased assignments.
  • Consequence: Violating this policy endangers your academic standing and the integrity of our platform. We will permanently ban any Provider found offering, and any Client found requesting, "cheating services."

4. Identity & Verification

  • Be Real: You must be a currently enrolled student to use Levari. Using a fake ID, utilizing another person's .edu email, or impersonating someone else constitutes fraud and will result in an immediate ban.
  • AI Responsibility: Our platform utilizes AI agents to help you write and optimize your service profiles. However, you are ultimately responsible for the truthfulness of your listing. Do not let the AI exaggerate your skills, experience, or qualifications. If you cannot actually perform the service to the standard listed, do not publish it.

5. Safe Transactions & Marketplace Integrity

  • Honest Dealings: Because Levari currently does not process payments directly on the platform, Users must arrange compensation directly with one another (e.g., via Venmo, Zelle, CashApp, or cash). Defrauding a fellow student—such as accepting payment and failing to deliver the service ("ghosting"), or receiving a completed service and refusing to pay—is strictly prohibited and will result in a permanent ban.
  • Clear Agreements: Always communicate clearly through the Levari platform to establish the scope of work, deadlines, and payment terms before any work begins.
  • No Illegal Goods or Services: You may not use Levari to buy, sell, or facilitate the exchange of drugs, alcohol, weapons, stolen items, or any other illegal contraband.

6. Your Reporting Obligation

A safe community requires everyone's participation. If you encounter a listing, message, or User that is illegal, dangerous, scamming, or otherwise violating these guidelines, you agree to report it immediately.

  • How to Report: Use the in-app "Report" button on the User's profile/listing, or email our safety team directly at levari.build@gmail.com. We review all reports confidentially and take swift action to protect our community.
